February 2022 saw the long-delayed Raising to the Third Degree of Brother Matthew. We had planned this ceremony to take place in the first half of 2020 but the pandemic intervened and Matthew has waited with great patience until we could finally make him our latest Master Mason.

Despite it being almost three years since the Lodge last conducted a Raising, the ceremony went off extremely well after a good rehearsal earlier in the afternoon. It really feels that “we’re back” after Covid now, with ceremonies taking place and friendships renewed in person.
